Don't miss The Pearl of the Virgin Coast in the middle of Sweden

Axmar Brygga Seaside Restaurant - The Pearl of the Virgin Coast (Jungfrukusten)​, is located between Axmartavlan and Söderhamn two hours north of Stockholm, offers a multitude of attractions, beautiful views, and enjoyable activities. Taking a detour from the E4 highway will provide you with a summer adventure worth remembering.

Take the opportunity to make a detour from the E4 to visit Jungfrukustens pärla. The detour between Axmartavlan and Söderhamn is 52 km and takes 52 minutes, while the E4 is 44 km and takes 28 minutes (according to Google Maps). In other words, you can take a short detour of about 24 minutes, but it offers so much more in terms of sights and potential activities, even though it takes a bit longer.

Some of the attractions along the Jungfrukusten between Axmartavlan and Söderhamn include:

Axmar bruk: A cultural reserve by the sea.

Axmar Brygga - The Pier: The legendary restaurant by the sea with a small boat harbor and camping spots for motorhomes and caravans.

Trollharen: This fishing village is located at Granön.

Ljusne: A historic industrial town along the Ljusnan River.

Stenö: A 4-star camping site and seaside baths.

Söderhamn/Flygmuseet: The museum is located on the old site of the F15 air force base and features a large flight simulator.

Söderhamn/Boat Tours: M/s Moa offers swimming and evening tours in the beautiful archipelago of Söderhamn.
